As an Armed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will conduct routine patrols on foot and in a vehicle, maintain a highly visible presence, and respond to security-related concerns with calm professionalism. You will deliver strong customer service and clear communication while helping to deter incidents and supporting store teams and guests. Requirements

• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, tenants, and shoppers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a retail location.
• Perform armed patrol duties, maintaining proper weapons handling, retention, and compliance with post orders and applicable laws and/or regulations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating disputes and coordinating with law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout sales floors, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter, observing for unusual activity and potential policy violations.
• Complete required reports, incident documentation, and shift logs, and communicate notable activity to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
