You will monitor activity, conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and manage employee and visitor access with badge verification. You will also respond to questions, document observations, and communicate clearly with onsite teams. Bring integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach in every interaction.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Loss Prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access at entry and exit points by screening visitors, drivers, and contractors, issuing badges and/or passes, and directing traffic flow to designated areas.
• Verify identification, appointments, and delivery paperwork, including bills of lading and shipping documents, and maintain accurate entry and exit logs.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems, report irregular activity, and communicate with site personnel as needed to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, document actions taken, and notify supervision and/or local responders per post orders.
