As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will engage with tenants, visitors, and staff through strong customer service and clear communication, while documenting observations and reporting concerns. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a commercial real estate environment.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter; working conditions may vary by location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical events, fire alarms, suspicious activity, and property-related issues.
• Monitor access points and common areas, observe for unusual conditions, and help to discourage unauthorized entry and/or policy violations through visible presence and professional communication.
• Complete detailed reports and logs of patrols, incidents, and tenant interactions, and communicate information promptly to site management and/or Allied Universal supervision.
