Join Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing and industrial location where you will manage access control, greet employees and visitors, verify credentials, and document entries and exits. You will complete routine patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents while delivering clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license in line with AU Driver Policy Requirements.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Control entry and exit at gates and/or lobbies by verifying identification, issuing temporary credentials when authorized, managing visitor and contractor sign-in, and directing deliveries to designated receiving areas.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or access control systems and report unusual activity; document security-related incidents, observations, and corrective actions per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, production-adjacent areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and/or property damage.
