As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will drive between assigned areas while completing routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and supporting access control and visitor assistance. You will communicate clearly with tenants, guests, and staff, document activity, and respond to calls for service with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach. This is a driving post.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A minimum of 1 year of security experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter of commercial real estate buildings to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and observe for unusual conditions such as unauthorized entry, loitering, and maintenance concerns, and report issues according to post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from site contacts and/or public emergency services as needed.
  • Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate significant updates to the Allied Universal supervisor and/or site management.
