As an unarmed patrol officer in a residential community, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to resident questions with professional customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post that requires a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy requirements. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A guard card/license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to alarms, disturbances, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site contacts and/or public services as required.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community, including buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor for and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and maintenance concerns, documenting observations in daily activity logs and incident reports.
Control access as directed by location procedures, including verifying credentials, assisting with visitor check-in, and supporting resident parking and amenity rules.
