Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a busy retail and mall location, helping to monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence, and respond to security-related concerns with clear communication and customer service. This role requires Level III Armed Certification and a valid driver’s license for mobile patrol duties. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, guests, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random armed foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical events, disturbances, suspicious activity, alarms, and/or shoplifting-related incidents, and request law enforcement and/or emergency services when appropriate.
Monitor access points, assist with crowd and traffic flow during peak hours, and help to deter unauthorized access, disorderly conduct, and/or loss prevention concerns through visible presence and verbal de-escalation.
Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in detailed written reports, complete required logs, and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal leadership and onsite management.
