Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a utilities location, where you will drive and patrol assigned areas, complete routine checks, and maintain a visible presence that helps to reduce security-related issues. You will engage with employees and visitors through strong customer service and clear communication while documenting observations and reporting concerns. Requirements

• A minimum of 1+ years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a utilities location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, yards, access roads, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or maintenance concerns to report.
• Monitor gates, fencing, and critical infrastructure areas for unusual activity, verify authorized access, and document entries and exits as required by site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or public responders per post orders.
• Complete detailed reports of patrol findings, incidents, and policy violations, and communicate relevant information during shift handoff to support continuity of operations.
