As a Screener in a fast-paced tech and telecom location, you will help manage entry points by screening employees, contractors, and visitors, monitoring assigned areas, and documenting unusual activity. You will stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, communicate clearly with site teams, and deliver a welcoming experience. Requirements

• A valid guard card and/or applicable security license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a tech campus and/or logistics location.
• Screen employees, contractors and visitors at designated entry points by checking identification, authorizations and visitor logs while directing individuals to the proper check-in steps.
• Conduct screening of bags, parcels and/or deliveries as required, using approved screening methods and documenting exceptions per site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and completing required reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, access issues and/or policy violations that may help to deter unwanted activity.
