As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a fast-paced tech and communications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to calls for assistance, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering strong customer service. Requirements

Security Experience ‐ 6+ Months.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

X‐Ray Screening Experience - preferred.
Customer Service Experience - preferred.
Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet - preferred.
State, County, or City Issued Security License - preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech-focused location.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes; note unusual activity and conditions and report findings.
Monitor access points and lobby areas as assigned, help to verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and direct guests, vendors, and deliveries to the proper destinations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, medical calls, and facility issues; request support from site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
Complete reports and logs, document security-related incidents and patrol results, and communicate relevant updates during shift turnovers using approved reporting tools.
