As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy transportation location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle-area patrols, remain highly visible, and help identify and report security-related concerns. You will greet travelers and staff with professionalism, communicate clearly with site contacts, and support orderly operations through timely documentation. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a transportation location.
Respond to incidents, service requests, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details per post orders.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, loading and staging areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor access points and vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow as assigned, verifying authorization where required and reporting irregular activity to site leadership and/or appropriate authorities.
Complete routine reports such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity summaries, and communicate observations and handoffs to oncoming personnel.
