As a Front Desk Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, verify credentials, monitor security-related activity via cameras and systems, and communicate concerns to onsite teams. You will support a professional lobby experience with strong customer service while helping to deter unwanted activity through presence and attention to detail. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors at the front desk by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access control at the lobby desk, including verifying identification, managing visitor sign-in, issuing temporary credentials, and directing guests to the appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting details, and coordinating with property management and/or emergency services as required.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and building systems as assigned, and report irregular activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations through required reporting channels.
• Maintain detailed logs and complete incident reports, shift activity reports, and other required documentation to support security-related operations at the location.
