As a Front Desk Officer in a busy retail mall location, you will welcome guests, support access control and badge checks, and help to deter security-related incidents through a highly visible, service-focused presence. You will communicate clearly with store teams, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership while documenting activity and responding to requests with professionalism. Requirements

  • Have at least 6+ months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, tenants, and/or vendors at the front desk by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access to the property by greeting visitors, assisting with check-in processes, issuing temporary visitor credentials when authorized, and directing individuals to the appropriate destinations.
  • Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and document security-related requests, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns according to site protocols.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, and other front desk systems and report irregular activity to site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating communications with property management and/or first responders as needed.
