As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage access control, monitor activity, and conduct routine patrols to help reduce security-related incidents. You will remain visible, verify credentials, and support employees and visitors with clear communication and customer service. Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Operate access control at entry points by verifying identification and/or credentials, issuing temporary badges, managing visitor check-in and check-out, and maintaining required logs.
• Monitor gates, docks, and vehicle traffic by coordinating with onsite contacts, confirming delivery and pickup information, and directing drivers to designated areas per site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns, documenting events, and escalating notifications per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations, and report irregular conditions.
