You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and perform routine rounds while observing and reporting concerns. You will communicate clearly with staff and visitors, respond to requests, and document activity. Bring an agile, reliable, and innovative mindset, deliver through teamwork, and act with integrity in every interaction.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
Customer Service Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors and staff at a government facility by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor access points and controlled areas, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and direct visitors to appropriate locations in accordance with site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site management and/or public emergency services when needed.
Document security-related activities, incidents, and observations using required reports and logs, and communicate relevant information during shift transitions.
