As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal, you will be the welcoming first point of contact at a professional location, helping to monitor activity and support security-related operations. You will manage visitor check-in, verify credentials, control access, answer questions, and document incidents with clear communication. Requirements

• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the front desk.
• Monitor and control access at the reception area by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and directing individuals to the appropriate location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and/or emergency services per post orders.
• Maintain accurate front desk logs and reports, including visitor activity, deliveries, key control, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to site management.
• Operate and monitor security-related systems at the desk, such as cameras, alarms, and intercoms, and follow escalation procedures when irregular activity is observed.
