As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal, you will be the welcoming first point of contact at a professional location, helping manage visitor check-ins, access control, and badge issuance while monitoring cameras and alarms for security-related activity. You will document incidents, communicate clearly with staff and guests, and support a calm, service-focused environment. Requirements

  • Possess a college degree.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed at the front desk.
  • Greet and assist visitors, verify identification, manage visitor logs and badges, and direct guests to the appropriate destination while following site-specific requirements.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, and/or access control systems from the front desk, and report irregular activity according to established protocols.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Complete routine administrative duties such as answering phones, documenting events, and preparing reports for Allied Universal and site leadership.
