As a Front Desk Officer at a welcoming cultural institution, you will greet guests, manage visitor access, monitor cameras and alarms, and document security-related activity with clear communication. You will be a visible, dependable presence who helps reduce incidents through professionalism and strong customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, members, staff, and vendors at the front desk by following site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
  • Greet and check in guests, issue visitor credentials when applicable, maintain visitor logs, and help direct individuals to appropriate areas within the location.
  • Monitor entry points, cameras, alarms, and/or communications systems, and report suspicious activity or policy concerns to the appropriate contacts.
  • Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services when appropriate.
  • Complete shift reports and other required documentation, and communicate relevant updates during post handoff to support consistent front desk operations.
