Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor key areas, conduct routine foot patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will support shipping and yard operations by reporting concerns, assisting with access control, and providing clear communication and customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the building, loading dock areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access at designated entry points by checking identification, managing visitor and contractor sign-in, issuing badges when authorized, and documenting arrivals and departures per site policy.
• Complete routine security-related reports and logs, observe and report hazards or suspicious activity, and use cameras and/or other systems as assigned to support incident documentation.
