You will conduct routine patrols throughout the property, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist guests and team members with courteous service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. Bring agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including customer concerns, disputes, and policy violations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, exterior areas, and parking areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, observing for suspicious behavior, potential theft activity, and unauthorized access.
• Document observations and incidents accurately, communicate updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership, and coordinate with local law enforcement when requested.
