As an unarmed, driving Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a transportation location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with site contacts and team members while delivering customer service. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transportation-related facilities, including building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points.
  • Monitor access points and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to site contacts to help to deter unauthorized entry and policy violations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including observing, documenting, and communicating details to appropriate personnel.
  • Complete daily activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant updates during shift changes.
