As an Access Control Officer at a busy food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, greet employees and visitors, and support security-related procedures using a computer or tablet. You will monitor activity, document incidents, and communicate clearly with site teams to help reduce unauthorized access. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors while following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access at entry points for a food and beverage location by verifying identification, issuing temporary credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing guests and contractors to proper check-in areas.
• Monitor and/or operate access control systems, gates, and cameras; report irregular activity, damaged barriers, and/or unauthorized entry attempts per post orders.
• Coordinate entry for deliveries and pickups by checking driver credentials, confirming appointment information, and communicating with receiving and/or shipping teams as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, document events in daily reports, and conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned.
