As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology manufacturing location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, observe and report unusual activity, and assist employees and visitors with clear communication and customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access requirements, and other security-related policies for a high-tech manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking lots, and perimeter points, noting irregular activity and conditions that may help to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points, check identification and/or badges, manage visitor check-in and escort processes as required, and direct individuals to the appropriate contacts or areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as needed and assisting with scene control until relieved.
• Complete shift documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and dispatch communications, and report maintenance or security-related concerns through established channels.
