As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment for employees and visitors. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy requirements. You will represent Allied Universal with integrity, teamwork, and a caring, people-first approach while providing strong customer service and clear communication.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Having a guard card or license is preferred.
• Having customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout interior common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and traffic flow, verify authorized entry where required, and help to maintain orderly movement of vehicles and pedestrians on the property.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site contacts and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Complete detailed reports and activity logs, document patrol observations, and communicate status updates to leadership and site personnel.
