As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to requests, document observations, and communicate clearly with site contacts and visitors while supporting access points and reporting procedures. Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech corporate location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the building perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious or unusual activity; help to deter unauthorized entry and/or policy violations through visible presence and timely communication.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support and coordination with site contacts and/or public responders as directed.
• Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and shift documentation; communicate updates to supervision and oncoming personnel using site-approved systems.
