As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a fast-paced tech and telecom location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and access concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering a strong customer service experience. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the facility, exterior grounds, and perimeter, noting unusual activity or potential hazards and reporting findings per post orders.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support and timely notification to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, managing visitor logs, issuing temporary badges, and directing deliveries and service providers to approved locations.
Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, monitor alarms and/or CCTV when assigned, and communicate observations that help to deter policy violations and unauthorized access.
