As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine foot patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet employees and visitors, support access control, respond to calls for assistance, and document observations with clear communication. Requirements

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify irregular conditions.
• Control access at vehicle and pedestrian entry points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and directing deliveries and contractors to designated check-in locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications, supporting evacuation or shelter procedures, and maintaining scene awareness until relieved.
• Complete timely security-related reports and logs, including patrol findings, incident documentation, and observations of equipment issues such as doors, gates, fencing, and lighting.
