As an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a fast-paced tech and media environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with on-site teams, and deliver a welcoming customer service experience. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech and/or telecom location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through the chain of command as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, corridors, common areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor flow by verifying identification, directing guests to approved areas, and reporting irregularities per site procedures.
• Complete timely reports on patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate updates to on-site personnel and/or Allied Universal leadership.
