You will complete routine patrols, document observations, communicate clearly with teams and occupants, and deliver customer service with professionalism. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout commercial office common areas, garages, loading docks, and the building perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and observe on-site activity, addressing unauthorized entry attempts, suspicious behavior, and/or hazards by taking appropriate action and notifying property management as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with evacuations, medical calls, and/or alarm activations per location guidance.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and tenant or visitor interactions in written and/or electronic reports, and communicate pertinent information during shift handoff.
