You will conduct routine rounds, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, assist tenants and visitors with clear communication, and document observations with attention to detail. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and service calls in a calm, problem-solving manner, reporting concerns to site management and/or Allied Universal supervision as required.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior common areas, exterior perimeters, parking areas, and access points to help to discourage unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
• Monitor building activity, access control points, and surveillance systems as assigned, documenting observations and incidents in written and/or electronic reports.
• Assist with traffic and pedestrian flow during deliveries, move-ins, and special events, providing directions and supporting compliance with property rules and/or post orders.
