As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents. You will greet tenants and visitors, respond to questions and concerns, communicate clearly with your team, and document observations. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, which is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control practices, and post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or operational concerns.
• Monitor and document security-related activity using radios, phones, and reporting tools, and promptly communicate observations to property management and/or Allied Universal supervision as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services when appropriate and assisting with orderly response activities.
• Complete detailed patrol logs and incident reports, collect relevant information, and support follow-up actions while maintaining a professional presence at the location.
