As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a high-energy tech location, you will complete routine patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, support access control and visitor management, respond to alarms, and document activity with clear communication. You will bring a customer-first mindset while working as part of a reliable team that acts with integrity, adapts quickly, and looks for innovative ways to support people on site.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• CPR Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to site leadership and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter routes, documenting observations and reporting conditions that may help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and key areas, verifying credentials when required, directing visitors and contractors, and maintaining visitor logs and/or access records per site requirements.
• Complete routine reports such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity reports, and notify management of maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy concerns observed during the shift.
