As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access points, observe and report activity, and communicate clearly with team members and site leaders while delivering a customer-first experience. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to location personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a food and beverage production and warehouse environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, access concerns, suspicious activity and/or medical events, and notify site leadership and Allied Universal management as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including production floors, docks, parking lots and perimeter fencing, to help to identify unusual conditions and report hazards and/or maintenance issues.
• Monitor access points and vehicle and pedestrian traffic as assigned, verify identification and/or delivery documentation when required, and document entries, exits and visitor activity per site policy.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident reports with clear details, communicate observations to oncoming officers, and support compliance with client and Allied Universal post orders.
