You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, support access control at key entry points, and document unusual activity while staying visible to help reduce security-related incidents. Working with a caring, people-first team, you will communicate clearly, assist employees and visitors, and act with integrity while delivering reliable service every shift.

Requirements

  • Have 1+ years of security experience.
  • Lift up to 20 lbs preferred.
  • Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and drivers by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Monitor and control access at entrances and gates by verifying identification, managing visitor and contractor check-in, and coordinating deliveries and outbound shipments according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disputes, and medical or fire-related events, and escalate to site leadership and/or public responders as required.
  • Document daily activities, patrol observations, and incident details in written reports and electronic systems, and communicate relevant updates during shift transitions.
