Requirements

• Have a minimum of 2 years of security experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Operate the front desk post by greeting visitors, verifying identification, issuing temporary credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing guests to approved destinations.
• Support access control for a technology-focused location by monitoring entry points, managing deliveries and service provider check-ins, and escalating access concerns per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken according to post orders.
• Monitor security-related alarms, communications, and cameras from the front desk as assigned, and complete detailed reports and shift handoffs for management and/or client contacts.
