As a Screener at a busy retail location, you will greet guests, support entry screening, monitor activity, and conduct routine patrols to help spot and report security-related concerns. You will remain visible, communicate clearly with store teams and visitors, and document observations to support smooth daily operations. Requirements

• Have at least 6+ months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred..

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while conducting screening activities at store entrances and/or designated points, following site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Monitor customer and employee entry and exit, verify authorization when required, and help to deter theft and/or policy violations through visible presence and observation.
• Observe sales floor activity and report suspicious behavior, alarms, and/or urgent concerns to store management and Allied Universal leadership, documenting incidents per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with emergency response activities as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, entrances, and the exterior perimeter as assigned; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
