As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting visible patrols throughout an aerospace and defense location. You will monitor assigned areas, respond to incidents, and provide outstanding customer service while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation. This is a driving post, so you will operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties, contributing to a secure environment for all personnel and visitors.
Requirements
- An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related risks within the aerospace and defense environment.
- Maintain clear and concise communication with Allied Universal management and site personnel regarding security-related matters.
- Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points during patrols.
- Assist with emergency protocols and evacuation procedures as needed in accordance with site-specific guidelines.
