As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a tech and communications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to requests, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21+ years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and onsite personnel by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and applicable emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of offices, work areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor access points, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and document visitor activity according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts and completing detailed incident documentation.
  • Observe and report unusual conditions, alarms, and/or policy violations, and communicate timely updates to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
