About The Position

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a professional location, completing routine patrols, observing for security-related concerns, and providing helpful customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, offering an active role where you stay visible to help to deter incidents, support access control needs, and represent Allied Universal with integrity, teamwork, and a caring, people-first approach.

Requirements

• Be 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid is preferred. This may be completed post hire.
• CPR certification is preferred. This may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas and the perimeter, as directed by post orders.
• Monitor for irregular activity and help to deter unwanted behavior through a visible presence and timely reporting.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or hazards in written reports and communicate updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
