As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a fast-paced tech and communications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a highly visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and respond to situations with calm professionalism. Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, loading and delivery zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns for reporting.
- Monitor alarms, surveillance systems, and access control points, verifying credentials and directing visitors according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications, documenting actions taken, and assisting with evacuations and/or shelter instructions when directed.
- Complete detailed written reports and electronic logs of patrols, incidents, and daily activities, and communicate relevant updates to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
