As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors with clear communication and customer service. You will conduct routine rounds, report concerns, and document activity while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity at Allied Universal.

Requirements

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to the client by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and warehouse location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical events, fire alarms, and/or equipment-related concerns, and promptly notify site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and control entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries, verifying credentials and/or visitor logs per site requirements.
• Complete written and/or electronic reports, including shift activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant information during shift turnovers.
