As an unarmed patrol officer in a retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support store teams and guests with clear communication, quick response, and strong customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail sales floors, stock areas, common areas, and the perimeter to help to deter theft and/or disruptive activity while maintaining a professional presence.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including addressing alarms, disturbances, and medical situations, and requesting additional resources when needed.
• Monitor access points and store entrances, observe for policy violations, and document and report suspicious activity, hazards, and incidents per site procedures.
• Communicate clearly with client representatives, mall management and/or local responders as needed, complete required reports, and assist with customer directions and service requests.
