As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for service, document observations, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors while delivering a customer-first experience. Requirements
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting on-site management and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of offices, common areas, loading and delivery areas, and exterior perimeters, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
- Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity by monitoring entry points, verifying visitor credentials when required, and maintaining awareness of site operations.
- Complete detailed reports of daily activities, patrol findings, and incident information, and communicate updates to leadership and/or client representatives per post orders.
