You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a highly visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and support access control, visitor interactions, and clear incident documentation. Requirements

• Have 6+ months of security experience.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, work areas, loading zones, and the building perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and property conditions by observing alarms, cameras, and/or posted instructions, and report maintenance concerns or unusual conditions per site protocol.
• Complete written and/or electronic reports such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity summaries in accordance with site requirements.
