As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a high-end retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and strong customer service. You will support loss prevention efforts and document activity using computer and/or tablet tools. Requirements

• Have 1+ Years' Law Enforcement Experience OR 2+ Years' Security Supervisor/Manager Experience OR 3+ Years' Security Experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a retail or mall location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with site management and/or local emergency resources as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout sales floors, entrances, back-of-house areas, and the property perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor customer and associate activity and report suspected theft, trespassing, loitering, and/or disruptive behavior in accordance with post orders and local requirements.
• Support access control at entrances and restricted areas by verifying authorized entry, assisting with crowd management during peak periods, and/or providing directions and information to visitors.
