As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic retail and dining location, staying visible while conducting routine rounds, observing for unusual activity, and reporting concerns. You will support a welcoming guest experience through strong communication and customer service, helping to reduce security-related incidents. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a guard card
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, tenants, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the location, including sales floors, dining areas, back-of-house corridors, and perimeter areas as assigned.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity, potential theft indicators, and/or policy violations, helping to deter unauthorized behavior.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing assistance, de-escalation, and timely notifications to Allied Universal supervision and/or site management.
• Complete required reports, incident documentation, and shift logs, and communicate relevant observations during post handoff.
