As an unarmed, driving Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will tour assigned areas, stay highly visible, and help to discourage unwanted activity while documenting observations and responding to requests. You will support access control and badge checks, deliver strong customer service, and communicate clearly with site contacts. Requirements

• Have 1 or more years of security-related experience.
• Be 21 or more years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating conflicts and/or requesting assistance from law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, common areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Control access points by monitoring entries and exits, verifying authorization when required, and assisting with visitor management procedures.
• Document patrols, incident details, and daily activities in reports and/or logs, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
