Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a busy healthcare location. You will conduct routine foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication and customer service. You will monitor assigned areas, follow site procedures, and report concerns promptly. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including calls for assistance, disturbances, and/or medical facility policy concerns.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
Control access at designated entrances and restricted areas by checking credentials, monitoring visitor flow, and/or supporting visitor management procedures.
Monitor alarms, CCTV, and/or other surveillance or access control systems, escalating issues to Allied Universal supervision and/or site leadership as needed.
Complete routine security-related reports and documentation, including shift logs, incident reports, and/or patient property or lost and found documentation when applicable.
Assist with de-escalation of disruptive behavior using approved communication techniques and request additional support when needed.
Support emergency procedures such as fire alarms, severe weather notifications, and/or evacuation support as directed by site protocols.
Communicate clearly with hospital staff, Allied Universal leadership, and/or local responders to coordinate incident response and follow-up.
Perform other duties as assigned by Allied Universal and/or site leadership in support of a professional healthcare environment.
