As an unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and provide customer service that reflects Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity, all within a people-first culture.

Requirements

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting observations and completing required documentation.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and lobby or corridor activity as assigned, verifying identification and/or visitor purpose per site requirements and directing individuals to approved destinations.
• Observe for security-related hazards or suspicious activity and communicate findings to site contacts and/or emergency services when needed, following escalation procedures.
