Security Officer Foot Patrol
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Patrol in Idabel, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a financial services location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that may help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet staff and visitors, communicate clearly, and document observations and concerns. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients at a financial services location by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and respond to alarms, suspicious activity, and service requests in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services when needed.
- Document routine and unusual activity using required reports and logs, including incident details, patrol observations, and follow-up actions.
- Support business operations by assisting visitors and employees with directions, access protocols, and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
